Special features regarding teaching

The degree course is characterised by a qualification that focuses on the demands of industry practice at the interface between Technology and Economics in internationally operating companies. Through the compulsory work placement abroad, as well as the many joint projects with practical relevance in teaching, the students are prepared for their future careers in the best possible way.

Compulsory work placement abroad in the 7th semester, 2 foreign languages, compulsory acquisition of intercultural skills in the internationally oriented degree courses.

The Rüsselsheim campus at Hochschule RheinMain has numerous state-of-the-art laboratories that are used in teaching and research.

Special features regarding research activities

The Engineering Faculty pools together engineering and natural science competencies. The research and development activities of the faculty are characterised by their application focus and interdisciplinary approach. The faculty focuses its research activities on four main topics: Sustainable mobility and energy, key technologies, environmental and medical technology, media technologies. Topic-specific institutes form structural brackets for the thematic bundling of the individual focus areas.

Support for founders

The Master’s includes compulsory courses on entrepreneurship. This course provides ideas for start-ups, which are then supervised by the respective lecturer. 3 companies were founded in the last year alone.
