Special features regarding the international orientation

In the specialisation in International Management, students are prepared for the challenges of an internationalised market. "Business Controlling & Finance" on the international market are as much a part of the curriculum as "Corporate Planning and Organisation" and "International Law". The modules are in English. As an elective module, students have the opportunity to acquire further in-depth foreign language skills. Students can also take the certified TOEIC test (TOEIC: Test of English for International Communication).

Support for founders

The degree course in Industrial Engineering cooperates with the Start-up Centre of the University of Ansbach. Projects such as the annual "Hackathon", which is about developing business model concepts and creative solutions, are taken into account in the recognition of credits (2.5 ECTS).

Other special features

The Industrial Engineering degree course is interdisciplinary in structure and interwoven with the "Sustainable Engineering" degree course. Sustainability projects are carried out in close cooperation. With the “VWI Hochschulgruppe Ansbach e. V.” (Association of German Industrial Engineers, University Group Ansbach) there is an active student group that creates added value for students by organising events in all areas. The annual “Christmas natural science lecture” is held for a good cause.
