Special features regarding teaching

The degree course teaches extensive professional skills. Lecture phases at the University and practical phases in companies change on a quarterly basis and enable students to contemplate and apply theoretical concepts. Practical experiences are discussed and documented in project work. Communication and presentation seminars and compulsory foreign language training ensure the required communication skills are achieved. To support individual skills development, every student is assigned a professor as a mentor.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Partner universities in England and Scotland for semesters abroad or a short summer school; Regular financial support for stays abroad through Erasmus and PROMOS programmes.

Exchange universities for stay abroads

University of West of Scotland Paisley; University of Coventry, England.

Special features regarding the equipment

Several PC clusters are available to students and can be used between 7am - 10pm, even at weekends. Every student receives a comprehensive Office 365 licence for their studies. Subject-specific software and databases are made available.

Support for founders

Several professors are heavily involved in entrepreneurship and are themselves entrepreneurs. For founders, for example, support is provided in the creation of business plans and sales plans in close cooperation with the local business development agency and the state development bank.
