Special features regarding teaching

The KSH Munich, Benediktbeuern campus, offers the following additional training in addition to the regular courses in the Bachelor Social Work: Additional theological qualification (TZ), additional qualification environmental and experience education (EPZ), additional music education (MUZA). The teaching is structured in a dialogue based way and is systematically evaluated. Double major with the degree programme in “Religious Education and Ecclesiastical Educational Work” is possible.

Special features regarding the international orientation

Study trips to the UK, Austria, Greece, Romania and Israel take place every year. International contacts with partner universities and practice places in various countries are intensively cultivated. English-language events are offered (including by visiting lecturers, visiting professors, etc.). The close cooperation between the international office of the university and the Faculty of Social Work on the Benediktbeuern campus guarantees individual, personal support for students abroad or during their internship abroad.

The Benediktbeuern campus is part of a listed monastery that was founded by the Benedictines over a millennium ago and is now managed by Don Bosco's Salesians.
