Self-referential, exploratory, research-oriented and practical and project-related learning; Close, personal contact between students and teaching staff; personal atmosphere conducive to learning; Teaching staff easy to reach; No overcrowded events; extensive support and guidance from all phases of study; student advice office; Guidance and supervision through Work Placement Office/representatives and International Office/representatives; Extracurricular courses such as "Summer School".

Special features regarding the international orientation

Erasmus University Charter; DAAD/PROMOS funding programmes (international grants); Bachelor: 10-15 outgoing students each winter semester who complete the practical components of their studies abroad (usually the practical phase in module 21 “Fields of Action” - 100 practical days in the 5th semester). In the Master's, the mobility window is built into the 3rd semester. Structural simplifications for international mobility are put in place for the time periods mentioned. Stays abroad are also encouraged outside these windows.
