Good individual supervision throughout the academic studies; to develop specialisations in exemplary fields of action of social work; broad range of options and numerous additional courses for students with an interest in Sport, Experimental Pedagogics, Art Therapy, Interview Techniques, Social Focus; small and consistent teaching groups form the foundation for self-reflective work in a confidential environment; very strong promotion of study periods and work placements abroad as well as fuss-free leaves of absence (time spent raising children, work, focus on career).

Special features regarding the international orientation

There are regular “binational seminars”: a themed seminar week is staged with a partner university on site and at the Catholic University.
