Special features regarding teaching

Very good student-professor ratio; Work in small groups: 3 - 6 participants in projects; integration of language training and foreign-language programmes in the degree course; Technical lab with specific applications and tools relating to Business Informatics to support the link to practice in the teaching programme; High proportion of problem-based learning and collaborative learning in the focus studies (from 4th semester).

Special features regarding the international orientation

English-taught course of study (Bachelor) possible from the 4th semester. This includes a work placement abroad and can be combined with a semester abroad at one of the partner universities. The dual-degree Master's with the ITMO University in St. Petersburg, that is, students can earn two degrees in one degree course. In the Master, joint case study-based training with the Riga Technical University in the area of ERP systems as part of the e-business module.

Excellent equipment with IT and Information and Communication Technology thanks to a new building in 2012 and special funding for equipment (2014 and 2019); sufficient number of PC clusters; Technical lab with typical Business Informatics tools for modelling and System Development; Laboratory in Enterprise Modelling and Enterprise Architecture Management; Lab for digital business models; Multitouch table for modelling; WiFi in all buildings; Internet in student residences; Use of ERP software; E-learning platform.
