Other special features

The department has its own student organisation for students of the Teaching Qualification Social Studies. The institute has an active alumni association, to which students also belong. It also supports both student and academic courses at the Institute, organises an evening event each semester, as part of which graduates report on their career paths, awards an annual prize for the best doctoral theses, sponsors the journal "Politicum," published by the departmental student organisation.
