Munich Centre on Governance, Communication, Public Policy and Law: Here, researchers from politics, media, economics and law work together across disciplines. Voegelin Centre: The Voegelin Centre was founded with the aim of facilitating and expanding academic examination of the subject area of politics, culture and religion. It houses an extensive library. Centre for Applied Policy Research: As an independent think tank, C·A·P closes the gap between politics and science through extensive education work. Every year, the GSI participates in the National Model United Nations (study trip to New York). Students can earn additional certificates in Environmental Studies and in International Communication. In the Master's degree programme, there are double-degree programmes with Pompeu Fabra University (in Barcelona) and Stockholm University.
