Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

Bamberg's political science programme offers an excellent teacher-student ratio. The teaching concepts that are used are interdisciplinary, research-based and have an international focus. We teach political science as an empirical social science, enabling students to learn about the political material and innovative methods in a practical way. Students are taught by internationally successful top researchers and can gain an insight into research practice as part of numerous third-party-funded projects.

Special features regarding the international orientation

The Bamberg Political Science department has recruited several professors from abroad and offers multiple double degrees as part of the Master's programme. The guided study abroad course in the BA and MA creates mobility windows and facilitates the recognition of study and examination achievements acquired abroad and thus increases the mobility of our students (via Erasmus, for example).
