Support for founders

The Institute for Entrepreneurship (IFE) brings together activities in the field of entrepreneurship and business development. For example, there is a start-up advisory service and an annual start-up competition, which also promotes networking among business founders. The topic of business development and SME research is also academically supported. The IFE is also the point of contact for exit grants and conducts start-up and idea competitions. The IFE Founders' Prize and the AppliedIdea ideas competition reward innovative business concepts and ideas.

Other special features

Diversity, sustainability, practical relevance, social responsibility, an interdisciplinary approach and digitalisation are central, strategic and university-wide guidelines in the management of the university and faculties as well as in the design and further development of degree courses. This is reflected, among other things, in the establishment of the Diversity and Sustainability Department, which makes the university a pioneer in sustainability reporting, and in the conception of the MBA Leadership: diverse – innovative – sustainable and of the MBA Sustainable Business Development.
