Admission requirements

The admission requirement is a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Biology or a comparable natural science subject from a German university or a university in a country that is a member of the Bologna Process. Equivalent degrees from other foreign universities are recognised. If the Bachelor's degree is not yet available at the time of application, interested candidates can apply if they have achieved at least 150 credit points. Evidence of the Bachelor's degree must be provided no later than 4 weeks after the start of lectures. The average grade of previous graded courses is the deciding factor in the selection procedure. English proficiency at B1 level must be demonstrated. In addition to the corresponding certificates, evidence of six years of school English is also recognised. Interested candidates who do not have a German university entrance qualification and have not obtained their Bachelor's degree from a German university must provide evidence of proficiency in German at A1 level.
