The course focuses on history, aesthetics and theory of the media, which opens up a unique, broad spectrum of research

Target group

Graduates of a specialised relevant Bachelor’s degree in Media Science or a comparable German or international professionally qualifying degree with a considerable component of specialised media science modules (at least 60 CP).

Annotation

The research and application-oriented degree programme qualifies for film and television, digital media and multimedia configurations. The focus is on history, aesthetics and media theory. Although the programme is application-oriented, it does not include any practical training (e.g., director or cameraman).
