Annotation
Germany is economically well connected with the Anglo-Saxon language area. Companies and authorities therefore always need staff management with good economic and linguistic-cultural knowledge of the English-speaking world. The Master's degree programme in English and American Culture and Business Studies offers Bachelor's graduates an application-oriented, arts and humanities-based study course. In four semesters, students will comprehensively address the fields of language and culture as well as economics. They do not only specialise their linguistic, literary and cultural knowledge, they learn the competent use of language within the meaning of level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and also acquire knowledge from the economics subject areas of finance and economic policy, finance, taxation and law, corporate accounting, accounting and more. Part-time study is quite possible due to the course of study in this degree course. Upon request, you can register for part-time studies in accordance with Section 19 (2) Hesse Higher Education Act (HessHG). The specific provisions for part-time studies will then apply. Counselling by the subject-specific student advice service is recommended.
