Target group
The Master's course builds on the Halle Bachelor's courses in Jewish Studies or Middle Eastern Studies. Due to the varied and flexible course offerings, graduates of other disciplines and universities can study in Halle if they have a command of Classical (Hebraicum) and Modern Hebrew. Furthermore, basic knowledge of Jewish History and Culture is required, which must be proven for those students who are changing courses (Bachelor's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Semitic Studies,... ) in an examination if necessary.
