Admission requirements
- studies of at least 3 years specialising in History at a university in Germany or abroad completed with above-average success; the Admissions Committee will decide on the equivalence of other certificates of academic degree. - very good proficiency in German, usually through the “German Language Test for Admission to Higher Education for Foreign Students” (DSH) or a “Test of German as a Foreign Language” (TestDaf) certificate; the Admissions Committee will decide on the recognition of other types of evidence. - English proficiency corresponding to at least level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. - Latinum (Latin proficiency certificate) or Latin proficiency recognised as equivalent or Graecum (Greek proficiency certificate) or Greek proficiency recognised as equivalent or a second modern foreign language relevant to the subject, at least at level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference. Notice: If this is not a mother tongue, language proficiency must be demonstrated by a language test or relevant documents.
