Admission requirements

- relevant Bachelor’s degree in communication science, media studies, education science or education theory or - a degree course in related fields such as media science, media management or media economics, journalism, psychology, sociology or social work as long as the degree clearly included at least 30 CP in childhood/youth studies or communication science and had a fundamental focus in (social) science. - A familiarity with empirical research methods (proof required in the form of graded basic knowledge amounting to at least 9 CP in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods or in statistical as well as other evaluation methods), - Successful participation in a selection procedure (including selection interview); registration for participation in the selection procedure: By 15.07. of the relevant year (exclusion deadline)
