Admission requirements

General higher education entrance qualification (allgemeine Hochschulreife) (school leaving certificate giving right of entry to higher education - Abitur), entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife) or other previous education recognised as equivalent (e.g. completed vocational training – either with three years of professional experience or with completed advanced further training) and at the time of commencing studies proof of the following: Completed vocational training as a medical assistant or comparable vocational training in healthcare (dental assistant, surgical technical assistant, nursing) and current employment in a GP’s practice (full-time and part-time employment), with the exception of interruptions in employment due to, for example, parental/caregiver leave or illness.
