Annotation
The importance of medical care and the health and and nursing system will continue to increase. Increasing life expectancy, advancing treatment methods and digitalisation in the healthcare sector are shaping medical care. This makes physician assistant a secure, interesting and fulfilling profession. Physician assistants work closely with doctors and are part of the medical team. They take on demanding tasks and make a key contribution to continuous and high-quality patient care. The course is very practice-oriented and geared towards the profession and its needs. Numerous practical skills are therefore taught and practised in the faculty's own medical laboratory DocLab. Due to the different practical phases, students are involved in medical care from as early as the third semester.
