Target group
The degree course is aimed at people who have completed their first professionally qualifying university degree in a non-economics subject from the social or healthcare sector. Your first certificate of academic degree must have an overall grade of at least 2.5. Application is also possible if the university degree has not yet been completed at the time of application, provided that at least 180 ECTS points (Bachelor’s degree with 7 semesters) or 150 ECTS points (Bachelor’s degree with 6 semesters) are proved.
Annotation
Stays or internships abroad are expressly welcomed. Examination results obtained during studies abroad can be credited if the skills acquired are equivalent to those envisaged in the degree programme. The Kempten University of Applied Sciences maintains relationships with numerous partner universities all over the world.
Admission requirements
First professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree with at least 210 credit points (CP) or equivalent. If the first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree is only worth 180 CP, admission is possible if you demonstrate practical experience in the social or healthcare sector of at least 20 weeks (full-time), which you completed after your first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree. The first professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree must have an overall grade of at least 2.5 and must have been obtained in a non-Economics degree course in the social or healthcare sector. A degree course is considered a non-Economics course if no more than 30 CP have been earned in it from modules in Business Administration, Economics or Management.
