Annotation
The Bachelor's degree course in Civil Engineering at THWS offers a practice-oriented engineering education covering the entire spectrum of civil engineering. Graduates therefore acquire a solid foundation that enables them to work in all areas of the construction industry later on. The degree course gives balanced consideration to the theoretical and practical aspects of the education and training and imparts the knowledge and skills required for planning, constructing and operating buildings, taking technical, economic and environmental aspects into account. The successfully completed Bachelor's degree course in Civil Engineering enables early entry into professional life and also enables graduates to pursue in-depth scientific studies in the fields of construction-specific engineering and environmental sciences. The students are therefore provided with a qualification oriented towards applied science that enables them to work in a solution-oriented and interdisciplinary manner. Degree programme with vocational and academic elements is also possible (combined degree programme). For information see www.thws.de/duales-studium
