Target group

The Master's programme in Occupational and Organisational Psychology at the MSH Faculty of Human Sciences is aimed at graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Business and/or Economics. The Faculty of Human Sciences has the status of an academic institution of higher education and is therefore comparable to a university.

Annotation

The aim of the Master's programme is to impart comprehensive competencies for students to work in the main fields of work and Organisational Psychology. These include in particular human resources, occupational health promotion and occupational safety as well as advisory services in the area of personnel and organisation. The Master's degree enables independent scientific work as well as practical work on a scientific basis in all subject areas of work and organisational Psychology. Both the scientific and the practical field of work and Organisational Psychology are therefore characterised by interdisciplinarity and a close interlinking of psychological and economic issues.

Admission requirements

The course at MSH Medical School Hamburg is not subject to admission restrictions. Performance, talent, motivation and discipline count more than the grade point average on the certificate. The following admission requirements apply for admission to our Master's degree course in Industrial and Organisational Psychology: - Eligibility to study in Master's degree courses in accordance with Art. 39 HmbHG and - successfully completed Bachelor's degree course in psychology or business administration or economics
