The University of Mainz offers the Bachelor's from the fifth subject-related semester and Master of Education only as a Teaching Qualification (Gymnasium-level). The teaching subject “Music” can, in combination with the compulsory subject “French”, also be studied in the integrated German-French degree course with a binational degree (see https://www.dijon.uni-mainz.de/bachelor-of-education-licence/). Prospective students can familiarise themselves with the subject during a taster day (www.studium.uni-mainz.de/schnuppertage).
