Target group

Sports managers carry out all the work involved in sports operations; they manage, plan, coordinate and communicate. Potential employers range from societies, clubs in professional sports to sports associations and administration; from the manufactures of sports articles to sport marketing agents. The postgraduate course Sports Management MA helps graduates in the growing sport labour market to stand out from competitors with an undergraduate qualification and prepares them for the future tasks of a sport manager. Due to the comprehensive basic modules on Business Administration, graduates can also work in other branches of industry in addition to the sports business.

Admission requirements

Admission to the degree course Master of Arts Sports Management is granted after determination of aptitude. The aptitude test should give an indication of the particular aptitude of the prospective students. - First professionally qualifying degree with the minimum grade of 2.3, or a recognised equivalent degree examination - Proof of active relationship and involvement in organised sport - Proof of aptitude for academic work (Project design) - Proof of motivation for the course in the form of a letter of motivation Detailed information on the admission requirements can be found online.
