Whether bridges, skyscrapers, water channels or underground railway tunnels: as a civil engineer, you basically plan and construct everything that surrounds us every day. In the dual degree course in Civil Engineering, we provide you with everything you need for this exciting career field. Topics on your curriculum include Structural Design and Engineering, Fundamentals of Building Materials Science, Structural Theory and Structural Engineering. The aim of the degree course is to provide particularly practical basic training. During your study programme, you will regularly switch between theory on campus and practice in a company. So you always apply your knowledge directly.
Admission requirements
Abitur (general higher-education entrance qualification) Without a school leaving certificate giving right of entry to higher education (Abitur) or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (Fachabitur), entry is possible if you meet one of the following conditions: - completed at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of professional experience in the profession you have trained in - successful passing of the Master Craftsperson’s examination - successful completion of a course as a state-certified Technician or state-certified Business Economist
