Special enrolment requirements Students who are entitled to study on a part-time basis are only those who are prevented from pursuing full-time studies due to a parallel occupation, raising children, caring for family members in need of care, a disability as defined by Section 3 of the Equal Opportunities for Disabled Persons Act (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz) or for another similarly serious reason. Where there is no qualifying, subject-specific professional activity, the scope of professional activity must correspond at least to one half of full-time employment. Applicants to the part-time programme must enclose appropriate proof with their application. - Bachelor's academic degree or Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering from a German university or a degree from a foreign university that is at least equivalent to the one mentioned above. - A final grade of at least "good" (2.5)
