Admission requirements

– General higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences or recognised degree Special enrolment requirements: - Prospective students who complete the required work placement as part of their studies: Proof of a 35-week work placement for the first year of studies - Prospective students raising children or caring for family members: Proof of family obligations: Proof of a 20-week work placement or a 35-week work placement integrated into the study programme Work placements: - Proof of practical experience of twelve weeks duration is an additional requirement for the degree course. At least four weeks of the practical experience must be gained before commencing studies and must be proven upon enrolment. - Proof of the remaining eight weeks must be provided no later than at the start of the fourth study semester.

No tuition fees are charged. The semester fee is EUR 326.92. With this, the student also obtains a ticket for the local public transport system as well as for whole of North Rhine-Westphalia.
