Annotation
Enough of calculating abstract models? Not to be taken seriously with your own ideas and ideals? Literally not seeing the forest for economic growth? Ready to transform the economy and society in a sustainable way? With us you study business sustainably, as a visionary and responsibly! To this end, we offer you a plural, critical, history-conscious and inter- and transdisciplinary degree course that encompasses the entire spectrum of new economic thinking. In addition, your degree course here includes practical modules in which you will work on social-ecological transformation processes for business and society together with numerous actors from science and practice. A selectable focus – either "System Change" or "Mindset Change" – rounds off your study programme.
Admission requirements
The University for Social Design selects its students in personal selection interviews. What is decisive is interest in the subject and in interdisciplinary and critical thinking, the enthusiasm for your own questions and social commitment. The formal requirements for admission are a relevant Bachelor's degree with at least 180 ECTS (or a comparable degree) and knowledge of Economics (preferably at least 30 ECTS). Our Student Advice Office is happy to advise students from other subject areas in order to check the admission requirements or discuss ways to achieve them.
