Target group
You have gained initial experience in the media sector, have communication skills in digital media and are highly motivated to shape the digital transformation. The degree programme is aimed at talented communicators with a first degree (e.g. a bachelor's degree) in a subject of their choice with very good German language skills. In the first year of the course, you will produce the online magazine FINK.HAMBURG up to the minute under realistic and professional conditions in the university's own newsroom. You will be individually mentored by Prof. Dr. Christian Stöcker, science journalist and columnist at "Der Spiegel". His team and numerous guest lecturers (NDR, Correctiv, Greenpeace, Der Spiegel, DESY and many more) will teach content-related, technical and strategic digital skills. In addition to working in the newsroom, students will prepare for the challenges of the digital and creative industries in practical projects.
