In addition to the above-mentioned admission requirements, prospective students need a training contract with a cooperating hospital including a medical certificate and an extended certificate of good conduct.
Admission requirements
The midwifery degree is only open to applicants who can prove at least one of the following: a) The completion of at least twelve years of general school education or b) The successful completion of vocational training, e.g. as a nurse or as a nurse on the basis of the German Nursing Act. For further accepted vocational training, see Section 10 of the German Midwifery Act.
