Target group
The admission requirement for the Master's degree is a professionally qualifying degree from Germany or equivalent foreign university degree with at least 60 credits in journalism, communication and media science, of which at least 10 credits in social science research methods. Study and examination achievements in subjects relevant for the Master's degree have to correspond to the Bachelor's degree course in Media Studies and Communication Science at the FU Berlin's Department of Political and Social Sciences with regard to orientation and scope of content. Applicants who have completed their studies at a foreign university or comparable institution must be able to prove their knowledge of German.
Admission requirements
The equivalency of proof provided is determined by the board of examiners in charge of the Master's programme of the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the Free University of Berlin.
