Admission requirements

Admission requirements for the Master's degree course are: - A professionally qualifying German or equivalent foreign university degree in the amount of at least 180 credit points with a study component of at least 60 credit points from the fields of Egyptology, Ancient Oriental Studies, Ancient Studies, Coptology, Digital Humanities, Computer Science - Language skills in the amount of at least 25 credit points or equivalent in one or more of the following languages must be proven: Ancient Egyptian, Acadian, Hittite, Coptic, Sumerian. - Applicants who have not obtained their certificate of academic degree at an educational institution where English is the language of instruction must provide evidence of English language proficiency at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or equivalent.
