Admission requirements

Bachelor's degree from Goethe University in Scandinavian Studies or in Empirical Linguistics with a specialisation in Scandinavian Languages or Bachelor's degree from Goethe University in a related discipline combined with the minor subject in Scandinavian Studies or Empirical Linguistics with a specialisation in Scandinavian Languages or degree from a university in Germany or abroad (in the same or a related subject) and good proficiency in at least one continental Scandinavian language (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish) as well as knowledge of philological working procedures. The examination committee decides on the recognition and comparability of qualifications. Very good proficiency in at least one continental Scandinavian language (Danish, Norwegian, Swedish) Proficiency in Old Nordic Proficiency in Latin
