The innovative Master's degree programme in Future-proof Building provides you with knowledge and skills to design building projects appropriately against the background of changing social, ecological and economic requirements and framework conditions. Here, it is important to be able to plan and evaluate construction processes and buildings in a life-cycle-oriented manner from the point of view of sustainability. In addition to technical expertise, the degree course will provide you with management skills as well as leadership and communication skills that enable you to work successfully in an international environment as well. As part of the degree course, we also provide you with specialist knowledge to qualify as an energy consultant.

Admission requirements: -Professionally qualifying certificate of academic degree in the fields of: Architecture, Civil Engineering or other construction-related degree courses of at least 180 ECTs, with an overall grade of at least 2.0 and containing at least 10 ECTs in the field of structural design and engineering and at least 10 ECTS in the field of building physics and building materials science. -With an overall grade of poorer than 2.0 and better than 2.8, a separate selection procedure is carried out. In this case, a letter of motivation of a maximum of 5000 characters must be attached to the application. If all the necessary supporting documents are submitted on time and in full, the faculty will invite you to a selection interview at the university, stating the day, time and place.
