Administrative internship, no direct enrolment at the university possible. The first year of the course is carried out at the Federal Government or state level; the second year of study at the Deutsche Hochschule der Polizei (German Police University) in Münster.

Admission requirements

- Successful completion of a degree enabling access to career track group 2, 1st entry position (formerly higher intermediate level civil service) (successful career track examination in accordance with Sections 12, 13 or 24) - Completion of at least 4 years of service within the police with the required range of areas of assignment following initial transfer of a position within career track group 2 - Age limit of 44 years - Proof of aptitude in accordance with skills, official achievements and personality - Proof of school education which entitles the applicant to university education or a recognised equivalent education level
