Target group
The Master's degree course in Evolution and Ecology conveys knowledge on the emergence, evolution and maintenance of complex, biological systems in time (current - historical) and space (local - global) and integrates processes from the genetic level through the organism to the biocoenoses. Both synthetic basic principles and applied, environmentally relevant aspects are taught. At the heart of the course is the in-depth scientific examination of the evolution of organisms and the importance of their interactions in their environment. The language of the course is English, some optional courses are held in German.
