Admission requirements

A minimum of a a first professionally qualifying academic degree (Bachelor or Diplom) with an average grade of 2.7 in a degree course with technological and/or food science relevance in food technology, food economics, ecotrophology, food chemistry or in a related technological subject with a minimum of 210 ECTS credits. Average grade to be proven increases by 0.3 for applicants who have demonstrably been in professional employment for at least two years after completing their first professional qualification academic degree. Candidates with an academic degree of at least 180 ECTS can be admitted on the basis of additional qualifications. Very good German language skills and good English language skills are also required and must be evidenced by official language certificates in cases where the applicant is not a German or English native speaker.

Tuition fee

No tuition fees are charged. The semester fee, including student transport pass for the VBN network, is 344 euros in the winter semester 2023/2024.
