Annotation
The MBA degree course "CSR & NGO Management", which is conducted in English, is aimed at international professionals who want to enhance their leadership skills through academic, interdisciplinary and intercultural exchange in order to push further professional goals in the management of Corporate Social Responsibility and/or non-governmental organisations (CSR & NGO Management) or in order to strive for a new professional direction in the subject areas in the future. Learning in small groups and in close contact with experienced experts from practice, research and academic teaching enables interdisciplinary and intercultural exchange under optimal learning conditions. Learning and working together in an international group promotes the intercultural skills of our students and thus makes them fit for the international labour market. The modular and clear structure of the curriculum is ideally suited to all internationally oriented professionals who require maximum flexibility in scheduling due to their work, family and other commitments. Students who are following a career-integrated study programme can easily complete their academic MBA while working, either part-time (18 months) or full-time (30 months). If the student’s life situation changes during the course of study, the course plan can be adapted to their individual needs, so that successful completion of the course is feasible despite all professional and private commitments that arise. The course content covers all important economic, legal and political foundations. The teaching of specialist management techniques is tailored to the current professional requirements of specialists and managers on the international labour market. Students learn how they can promote sustainability within a non-governmental organisation or a CSR department and how they can establish this in an organisation in a way that demands success.
