The predominantly seminar-style teaching is generally conducted in German. Individual modules are taught in English. Selected students with a focus on finance can complete a double degree with the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences.

Admission requirements
- Bachelor's or Diplom degree in law or first state examination in law or a comparable academic degree from a recognised institution of higher education – At least 210 ECTS points (applicants with 180 credit points must earn an additional 30 credit points; for example through an integrated work placement, which lengthens the degree course by 1 semester) - Proof of completion of the following content-related comparable subjects in previous degree courses: German Civil Code (BGB) General Part, Law of Obligations, Property Law, Labour Law, Company Law and Constitutional Law - Work experience in the desired field of study of at least one year, if available - Very good English language skills B2 (CERF) - Very good German language skills C1 (CERF) - for applicants whose native language is not German or who have not successfully completed a degree course in German – Letter of motivation in English – CV in English
