Annotation
The English-language master's degree course "Public Art and New Artistic Strategies/Art in Public Space and New Artistic Strategies" with the academic degree "Master of Fine Arts" (M. F. A. ) prepares students for the special situation of the visual arts in dealing with the public and enables them to make effective artistic interventions. The consecutive degree course is unique in Germany: Students from all over the world are trained in the internationally oriented master's degree programme. The international students spend four semesters in Weimar. Their German fellow students complete a part-study abroad of at least one semester, whereby they benefit from the wide-ranging network of international partner universities. The degree course offers a total of about 30 places.
