Graduates with a Bachelor's degree course in Applied Health Sciences or Nursing Sciences, in Health Management, Public Health, Interprofessional Healthcare or related scientific disciplines who would like to specialise in management and leadership tasks and have at least one year of professional experience (otherwise, our continuing education offer is open to you to enable seamless transition from your Bachelor's to your Master's degree.) Graduates who want to take on tasks in teaching and professional (further) education in health and nursing. Employees of companies and organisations in the healthcare sector who perform management, leadership and control tasks, or want to do so in the future.

Annotation

The Master's degree programme with vocational and academic elements Advanced Practice in Healthcare prepares employees from healthcare professions for specialist and management roles. Three disciplines are offered for specialisation: - Management & Leadership (MA) - Health Professional Education (MA) - Advanced Clinical Practice (MSc) The Master's degree course contributes to interprofessional cooperation in health professions. The degree course builds on the knowledge acquired in your first degree (usually a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Nursing). Further specialisations are possible within the disciplines through elective modules. You select the modules according to your professional and private goals. Theory and practice are combined in this Master's degree course: In your coursework and the Master's thesis, you will work with projects of your employer. In this way, you can use valuable synergies. Not only do you benefit, but also your company/institution.

The DHBW CAS Master’s degree programme is a continuing education and career-integrated programme. The following admission requirements apply for starting a degree course: - You have professional knowledge of healthcare or nursing. - Successfully completed Bachelor’s degree. - In addition to a completed first university degree, the following practical experience is required for admission to the dual Master's degree course: One year of professional experience in a subject-relevant field. Have you previously studied a different subject or not yet obtained a full year of professional experience? Then let us advise you and use our further education offer to enable seamless transition from your Bachelor's to your Master's degree course. - At work you can implement the knowledge acquired in the Master’s programme. - Your employer is informed about your application for the Master's programme.

The Master’s degree programme with vocational and academic elements in Advanced Practice in Healthcare costs 6,500 euros (1,625 euros per semester) and a one-off registration fee of 300 euros over the standard period of study of four semesters. Additional study semesters cost 400 euros.
