Annotation
The MBA in Medical Leadership aims to equip experienced doctors with skills that are relevant for a competent and equitable leadership role in healthcare institutions such as clinics, hospitals or practices and to provide them with the tools for successful employee recruitment and retention. Both aspects are crucial success factors that ultimately affect the well-being of patients – especially in an age in which skilled workers in medicine and nursing are in short supply. This degree course is also suitable for switching from the clinical area to strategic management, such as hospital management, a consulting firm or to the pharmaceutical industry as a medical director. In all cases, this MBA provides the necessary economic knowledge and demonstrates possible digitalisation strategies including e-health and telemedicine as well as their implementation possibilities in the healthcare sector.
