Annotation

With the Master’s degree course in 'Facility and Real Estate Management' (MSc), we prepare you for a professional role in academia, e.g. as a lecturer or academic employee, as well as a manager in the private sector, e.g. as a technical manager, in facility management, asset or property management. You will initially learn how to manage large real estate holdings in a user-oriented manner and how to design the associated processes. We will work with you on how, by whom and why standards are developed and you will learn how possible consequences of new technologies can be estimated. We teach you what it means to assume responsibility as a manager and familiarise you with scientific methods. In the second semester, you will work in teams on projects for the planning and operation of real estate and immerse yourself into the world of research before setting your final personal accent with your Master's thesis in the third semester.
