Annotation
The international research-based Master of Arts (MA) "Urban Cultures" (URC) is designed for students interested in urban cultural studies who wish to acquire transdisciplinary competencies with regard to European and Latin American cities and urban regions. In addition to the study of relevant urban theories and practices, the Master's curriculum focuses on the importance of culture, creativity, and the arts for sustainable and inclusive urban planning and management, considering not only urban governance and policies but also the constitutive role of urban imaginaries and aesthetics for urban identities and creative processes.
