Target group

The target group for the MSc Psychology with a 2-year standard period of study are excellent graduates of a BSc Psychology or an equivalent degree course with a pronounced interest in the main topics of the degree course as well as a well-developed ability to understand methods of scientific work and skills for reflecting on these methods in practice.

Annotation

A central element in the degree course is a several-month “research project” in which the students are heavily involved in the current projects of the working groups. Start of the degree programme: winter semester 2023/24.

Admission requirements

1. A Bachelor's academic degree with a grade of 2.5 or better from a course of at least three years at a state or state-recognised university or university of cooperative education in Psychology or a subject related to the Bachelor's degree course in Psychology at the University of Konstanz. 2. Participation as a subject in psychological studies amounting to at least 20 hours. 3. Work or research placements in the field of psychology amounting to at least 10 weeks full-time or a correspondingly extended duration part-time.
