Annotation

The Master's degree programme with vocational and academic elements in Civil Engineering prepares you for helping to design innovative solutions for the future in the construction industry. The degree course focuses on the topics of resource-efficient construction, sustainability and digitalisation. With close links between theory and practice, you will learn how to plan, implement and evaluate complex projects. This degree programme started for the first time in the 2022/2023 winter semester. For professional specialisation, the following specialisations are offered: - Structural Civil Engineering - Facility Management - Infrastructure Management The degree course is composed of core modules and elective modules. This allows you to study exactly the content you need in your profession. In contrast to the Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (degree programme with vocational and academic elements), you will deal with larger and more complex projects in the Master's degree course. The course content is practice-oriented and taught to you by experienced lecturers.

Admission requirements

- You have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree (or comparable academic degree), regardless of which university, university of applied sciences or cooperative university it is from (final grade of 2.5 or better or membership of ECTS classification A or B) - You have knowledge of civil engineering, usually acquired through a corresponding certificate of academic degree; entry for career-changers is possible – please contact the academic director of the degree course as early as possible. - After completing your bachelor's degree, you have worked and gained experience of at least one year in a job suitable for your desired degree programme. - At work you can implement the knowledge acquired in the Master’s programme. - Your employer is informed about your application for the Master's programme. - The content of the degree course matches the work you do.
