Graduates of the Master's degree programme in Employment Law have a critical understanding of employment law, including the following areas: Employment contract law, protection against dismissal, protection of special groups of persons, vocational training relationship; works constitution law, collective bargaining, codetermination, industrial action and personnel representation law; employment court proceedings; basic principles of company pension schemes, basic principles of social security law. For full-time lawyers, the Master's degree programme in Employment Law fulfils the requirements of the specialist lawyer training course within the meaning of the Specialist Attorneys' Regulations (FAO) for the award of the title of "Specialist Attorney for Employment Law" Graduates receive the internationally recognised academic degree "Master of Laws (LL.M.)".
