Target group

The Master's degree programme is aimed at graduates who have completed an undergraduate (Bachelor's or Diplom) programme in the fields of architecture, civil engineering or social sciences. Alternatively, it is also possible to take up studies after a vocational university degree in related disciplines such as geography, landscape planning, spatial and environmental planning, urban and regional planning or administrative sciences.

An application or selection procedure may be put in effect The Master's degree course can be studied full-time with a standard period of study of three semesters (90 ECTS). The admission requirement is a relevant first degree with a total of 210 ECTS. Applicants with a first degree of 180 ECTS may be admitted on condition that a further 30 ECTS are compensated. To compensate for this, a full-time professional activity of 12 months as well as practical phases in relevant disciplines can be recognised or additional modules amounting to 30 ECTS can be taken. The duration of degree is extended accordingly.
