Target group
The teacher training course NwT (Materials Technology Standards Committee) teaches fundamental competencies in the various areas of specialist science, technology and didactics. Through the cooperative study of the four natural sciences and in-depth practical applications in the technical field, the central competencies for the later teaching profession are acquired. The specialisation is on a basic understanding of the interrelationships between the various sub-areas, of technical processes and the relation of technology to everyday life and to young people's experiences - and world of thought. Prerequisites for action-oriented teaching with a specialisation on project-oriented work are created. The first subject and educational sciences complement the course.
