Target group

The Master's degree course is open to graduates of Bachelor's degrees in all security-related academic disciplines, whereby students with a Bachelor's degree and / or practical experience in the fields of Security Studies / Security Management, International Relations, International Law, Public Administration, Criminology, Social Sciences, Police Studies or IT Security are preferred.

Annotation

Level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is recommended. However, applicants must prove that they meet the minimum requirement B2 in all examination components of the language certificates. The admissions committee decides in individual cases. Required minimum language skills, which must be demonstrated by one or more of the following successfully completed language tests: - TOEFL iBT – 87 points - IELTS – 6.5 in all components - TOEIC – 4 skills: 1,233 points - PTE Academic – 70 points - Cambridge English Scale – 173 points - Oxford Test of English – 130 points - UNIcert – UNIcert II, (UNIcert III recommended) Other English language certificates: alternatively telc B2 certificate, students with proof of C1 or C2 are preferred. The proof must not be older than two years. Please note: We do not accept high school diplomas or DAAD language certificates as proof of English proficiency. Your documents will only be checked when you apply, it is not possible to do so in advance.
